Libuše Jarcovjáková is a legend of world photography and an untamed woman who defied all conventions. Her life is a mosaic of fascinating encounters and wild stories—from the gritty underground of communist Czechoslovakia, through exclusive photo shoots for fashion elites in Tokyo, to a dramatic escape to West Berlin, where she witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain. From thousands of analog photographs and pages of personal diaries, director Klára Tasovská has created a formally unique documentary that captivated audiences at the Berlinale festival.
