An intimate portrait of a girls’ friendship “till death do us part” opens up the interval between childhood and adulthood, play and seriousness, reality and fiction. In this montage documentary, photographs from family archives intertwine with camera-less animation. The flow of images is carried along by a lazily drifting river, into which the protagonists eventually plunge—because it is hot. Júlia Slovenčíková studies editing composition at FAMU. She enjoys music, dance, and visual art.
