Cinema ClubIn the film, the author returns to a personal theme—to Zemplínska Šírava, a place where he spent much of his childhood. Also known as the “Slovak sea,” this place once overflowed with children’s laughter and the bustle of thousands of tourists who visited it. Now, however, it remains in a dilapidated and abandoned state. The film is a mix of ideas, but it lacks a coherent concept or a guide to reading the images, resulting in an indeterminate blend of sound and image left entirely to the viewer’s interpretation.
