Absence

Rouzbeh arrives in Prague, far from family issues in Tehran, and immerses himself in the search for the past of his father, a communist exile who once lived in socialist Czechoslovakia. While visiting the apartment where his father had lived 50 years ago, he is stopped by the police, who are currently investigating a new case. The tenant fell out of the window here, and his last name matches Rouzbeh’s. This cannot be a coincidence, and Rouzbeh is thus confronted with the existence of his half-brother Vladimir.
