A presentation of the platforms Talentmap and Actorsmap, followed by a discussion on actor self-presentation: how to set up a profile and showreel, and how to work with your profile; how the actor–agent–casting connection functions; what exactly the work of a casting director and agent entails—from brief and shortlist to communication and collaboration terms. How do creators and casting directors use these platforms, and what does the future hold?
