20 Years of Cinematik and a Great Movie Ride

The Cinematik Festival was born out of enthusiasm and a desire to bring a new space for quality cinema, discussion, and discovery to Piešťany. What began as a bold idea from a small group of people gradually evolved into an event that has secured a firm place on the map of film festivals. Over two decades, we have presented audiences with more than 2,000 films from around the world, countless unforgettable meetings with creators, inspiring discussions, and moments that went beyond the screen. Cinematik will be discussed by executive director Tomáš Klenovský and program team member Peter Konečný.
