Set amidst the vast, unique and unforgiving Australian desert is a gritty thriller about the greed that can cloud the human mind. How far can people go in their quest for immense wealth? Two strangers wander the Australian desert. Virgil is on his way to a job that will supposedly change his life, and he is to be brought there by a not-so-friendly driver, Keith. During the journey, the car’s engine overheats and they have to stop in the middle of the arid wilderness. As Keith repairs the car, a golden gleam at his feet catches Virgil’s eye. They start digging and discover the biggest boulder of gold ever found. Initial excitement turns to helplessness when they discover that pulling such a large lump of gold out of the ground is beyond their strength.
