On the Adamant

The Adamant ship is a day stationer. The unique barge is located in the heart of Paris on the river Seine and it offers care for people suffering from mental disorders. Nicolas Philibert, one of the most famous documentary filmmakers of today, presents a welcoming community, atypical, especially for patients co-creating their care. Here people are encouraged to exchange ideas, to participate in artistic and cultural activities, and some even come together to keep the accounting of the association. Muriel, François, Sébastien, and Frédéric are not just patients, but real people who are able to think, feel, create and have a sense of humor.
