KinematografThe French rural region of Jura is famous for its dairy cows, agricultural festivals, and delicious Comté cheese. In this seemingly idyllic setting, troubled teenager Totone spends most of his time hanging out with his friends. After his father’s death, 18-year-old Totone must quickly grow up and stand on his own two feet in order to take care of his 7-year-old sister and the family farm. He decides to enter a competition for the best Comté cheese in the region. He can win a gold medal and €30,000. But there’s a small catch: he knows nothing about cheese making. The film is the feature debut of director Louise Courvoisier, as well as the debut of Clément Faveau, who plays the young farmer Totone.
