Little Trouble Girls

Lucia is a shy sixteen-year-old girl who lives under the strict supervision of her mother. Membership in a Catholic choir is supposed to guarantee her a decent and moral upbringing. However, during a summer camp in the charming surroundings of an Italian monastery, her life intersects with the enchanting Ana-Maria and a mysterious dark-eyed restorer. Are sins really so bitter, even if one dares to step out of the shadow of conservative values and begins to listen to one’s inner voice? Urška Djukić’s debut feature film, with its imaginative power, is reminiscent of the works of Céline Sciamma.
