DJ Ahmet

Ahmet has two tasks in life—to look after his younger brother, who lost his speech after their mother’s death, and to look after the flock of sheep. Life in the Macedonian countryside is certainly no walk in the park. Patriarchal and religious traditions reign supreme here. Marriages are arranged, and social hierarchies are deeply rooted. The younger generation rebels, but only when their parents aren’t looking. However, progress is slowly making its way. And when Ahmet accidentally ends up at an illegal rave party, he finds a new meaning in life…
