The Good Death

Terminally ill Janette wants to die with dignity, but it’s not possible in the United Kingdom, where she lives. She therefore decides for voluntary assisted dying. Janette must plan her journey to Switzerland before her rapidly advancing disease makes it impossible. Her son Simon has also inherited muscular dystrophy and, therefore, has much more sympathy regarding her decision than her daughter Bridget. Do we own our own life or does it own us?
