Greetings from the Cinematik Film Festival crew! Although the weather doesn’t look like it yet, we are already working on another summer edition of the festival we all love so much. The 19th edition is sure to be great and we are looking forward to a unique atmosphere and filled cinemas in Piešťany again.

Cinematik is only possible to prepare every year thanks to subsidies and donations. That is why we would like to thank all those who have supported us in the past and all those who came to the festival and trusted the whole festival team. We appreciate it.

If you decide to help us by filing your own tax return, calculate 2% of the tax you pay and simply enter the following details on your tax return:

If you are an employee, ask your employer to make an annual settlement of the advance tax paid by 15 February . Then ask your employer to issue you with a tax receipt form (Potvrdenie o zaplatení dane). You can find out the date of payment of tax and calculate the 2% of your tax paid (this must be at least €3) from this Confirmation. Enter the necessary information in the 2% remittance declaration form (Vyhlásenie o poukázaní 2%).

Both these forms, i.e. the Declaration together with the Confirmation, should be sent by 30 April to the tax office of your place of residence.

How to get the discount?

If you decide to donate 2% of your taxes to us and check “I agree to send my data (name, surname and permanent residence) to my designated recipient of the share of the tax paid” in your tax return or declaration, we will send you a 50% discount code you can use for your ticket for the 19th edition of Cinematik Piešťany in
