Somewhere in the woods of the Italian countryside there is an ancient villa. Desperate people whose everyday lives have reached a dead end come here for a reason. The villa offers a way out. In exchange for a decent sum of money, its inhabitants are here to rent their bodies to mysterious creatures for a contracted period of time. When, after a long and seemingly peaceful wait, huge and ancient creatures emerge from the deep forests surrounding the villa, a series of strange and sinister events prompt three unlikely allies to band together and find a way out.
