Rebellious Teenager Sarah is having problems at school. She has run away from home, and sleeps outside on a playground. Plagued by dark dreams, one day she comes across an advertisement looking for volunteers for university sleep research. The offer sounds tempting: comfortable and safe monitored sleep. Hoping to get rid of bad dreams, she unwittingly becomes a conduit for terrifying new discoveries. Instead of relief, the nightmares worsen, and disturbing visions spill over from her dreams into her waking life. The scientific research turns into a terrifying journey deep into her dark subconsciousness. She must find a way out of this surreal and increasingly frightening dream world.
