Maldoror

Paul Chartier is a young, impulsive novice policeman. An idealist. After two little girls go missing, he is assigned to the secret police unit Maldoror, monitoring a dangerous sex offender suspected of rape, murder, and being a member of an organized pedophile ring. The investigation is hampered by bureaucracy, which leads to tragedy. Disgusted by the limitations of the legal system, Paul embarks on a personal, solitary hunt disregarding everything and everyone around him. Step by step, he descends into a personal hell of his own making. There is only one way out: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
