Cinematik.doc 2020: Call for Entry

Cinematik.doc is Slovak documentary feature films competition, for movies which were premiered over one year before the festival. Literary Fund of Slovakia Cinemaitk.doc Award with 1000 € reward will be awarded to the best documentary director, which will be selected by an international jury and the Literary Fund.

Movies eligible for entry the competition are:

• documentaries
• runtime is at least 52 minutes
• have a Slovak producer (if it is a co-production movie and there are two co-producers, the Slovak co-producer’s share has to be at least 20%. If there are three or more co-producers, the Slovak co-producer’s share has to be at least 10%)
• the film director has a permanent residence in the Slovak Republic during the festival
• the movie was premiered (in cinema distribution, on a festival, in a TV) between 16 September 2019 and 15 September 2020
• the release print is one of these formats: Digital Cinema Package, Blu-ray
• the release print has English subtitles

The programme team will decide whether a movie is accepted.

The festival is not paying screening fees for movies accepted to the Cinematik.doc competition.
