Cinematik IFF celebrates 20 years of existence. The fact that the discounted accreditations sold out in 50 seconds is a testimony to its growing popularity. Through films one can educate, broaden horizons, people can simply become better through films. A good film can literally shake a person and offer a huge range of emotions and experiences – thinks Peter Konečný, a member of the Cinematik programme team, who has been involved in the festival since the beginning.
