The Cinematik International Film Festival is one of the most important film events of the year. Here you can discover new directing talents, but also award-winning filmmakers who are writing contemporary film history.
Every September, the festival brings over 80 full-length and numerous short films to the cinemas of Piešťany with an emphasis on European and Slovak cinematography. This year, there will be important Slovak pre-premieres, dozens of films from A-list festivals, or a competition section of full-length Slovak documentary films Cinematik.doc. Get in the mood with us for the upcoming festival with our online program, in which we bring a collection of films from the previous year.
