DOX IN VITRO – workshop for young producers and documentary filmmakers from Slovakia and Central Europe

DOX IN VITRO is a workshop for young producers and documentary filmmakers from Slovakia and Central Europe who want to introduce themselves to the “real world” of the European documentary film market. It focuses on the development of documentary films under the guidance of experienced lecturers and underlines the importance and necessity of co-productions in today’s world of audiovisual industry.
Presentations by leading international experts will focus on the fundamental creative, technical and financial aspects of documentary filmmaking and production. They will present different creative ways of storytelling to be able to “travel” and engage a wide international audience and will bring specific information on the European documentary market. Participants will also have the opportunity to consult their trailers with an experienced editor.
DOX IN VITRO is your opportunity to develop your documentary project. You will work in small groups under the guidance of leading international documentary experts. Each project will receive individual attention and detailed feedback – many valuable tips on development, narrative structure, visual style and potential funding opportunities.
