Cannes, Sundance, Berlinale, Venice, Locarno – films from the most important festivals again at Cinematik

The sections Paths of Glory and Artistic Director’s Choice traditionally bring together several exclusive Slovak premieres. Many of the films have already won awards from prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Locarno, Berlinale or Venice and often do not reach our cinemas until months after their release at Cinematik, or not at all.

This year, fifteen important new films have also made it into the competition categories of Meeting Point Europe and Cinematik.doc. These will be high quality fiction and documentaries from European and national filmmakers. Once again, there will also be several exclusive festival previews among them.

The festival will gradually reveal more details of its programme in the coming weeks.
