At the 17th edition of Cinematik, we will once again see two competitive sections

The programme of the 17th year will include the competition sections Meeting Point Europe and Cinematik.doc – a months-prepared selection of the best from Europe and Slovakia. Visitors will also see exclusive previews of new and expected Slovak titles. Both sections contain almost two dozen works.
The main competition category of the International Film Festival Cinematik: Meeting Point Europe brings a set of exceptional European films, from which, in addition to the audience, an expert jury composed of film critics and members of the FIPRESCI federation will choose their favorite. The selection traditionally consists of top acts that have already achieved success at renowned international festivals. Cinematik is the first to bring several such titles to Slovak viewers.
Cinematik.doc is a competitive category of Slovak feature-length documentaries that premiered during the past year, but in many cases they will be presented to the audience for the first time directly at the festival.
