Reservations

Starting this year, we are introducing a reservation system at the festival. You can find out how it works in the text below.

Reservations are not mandatory. Entry to the cinema is still only possible with accreditation. During the festival, you can make up to 10 reservations.

How to make a reservation

To create a reservation, you will need our festival app Cinematik, which you can download from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Before the festival, an update of the app will be released that will introduce the new reservation feature. You will need to install this update. At the same time, we will add illustrated step-by-step instructions to this guide.

The reservation system will be launched on the first day of the festival, September 10, 2025.

  1. Prepare the QR code for which you want to make the reservation – that is, your accreditation.
  2. In the app, go to the main menu and open the “Reservations” section.
  3. Press the “Scan” button and allow access to the camera.
  4. You will see a schedule of films for which reservations can be made.
  5. Select a film and click on “Reserve”. Done – your film is reserved.

You can view or cancel all reservations after scanning your accreditation.

For each film, you will also see the number of seats available for reservation.

If you don’t manage to make a reservation, you can still attend the screening, as we don’t release the full cinema capacity for reservations. Moreover, if viewers with reservations don’t arrive on time (see below), their seats will be released to others.

⚠️ Important notice: The reservation is linked to the scanned accreditation (not to the app on your phone). For this reason, we strongly recommend not exchanging accreditations. Reservations could get mixed up, and without the correct accreditation, you will not be admitted among the first (you will be admitted with viewers without reservations).

If you haven’t picked up your accreditation yet, you can make a reservation using the QR code you received by email. Once you collect your accreditation, you must use the accreditation only.

If you need help with a reservation, please contact our staff at the accreditation center.

How it will look in the cinema

The principle is similar to airlines with priority and non-priority boarding.

If you don’t have a reservation: It still applies that with accreditation you can enter the cinema hall if seats are available. Entry for viewers without reservations begins 10 minutes before the screening.

If you have a reservation: Cinema halls open 20 minutes before the screening starts. Visitors with reservations will be admitted first. Seating remains unassigned – you choose your own seat. Upon entry, please stand in the designated queue for reservations.

Reservation validity: 10 minutes before the start of the film, reservations expire. If you arrive later, your reservation will no longer be valid, and you will be admitted together with viewers without reservations.

Before entering the cinema hall, we kindly ask viewers to stand in the appropriate line – for those with reservations, or for those without reservations.
