The Power

Nurse Val faces her first day on the job in a rundown London hospital. Because she is young and timid, the head nurse immediately assigns her to the night shift. What’s worse—there’s a blackout scheduled for that night. Most of the hospital is evacuated, leaving only the intensive care unit patients, who are unlikely to survive the transfer, and a handful of staff. The lights go out, the hospital slowly fades into darkness. In the darkness lurks a terrifying and inhuman evil. And Val’s innocence is exactly what awakened the hidden evil. For once, Val regrets not answering yes to the question of whether she is afraid of the dark.
