The Wedding

Wojciech Smarzowski

The pretext for the black comedy about a boundless obsession with money is the wedding of the daughter of a village rich man, aware of the power of money. They win the groom over with a luxury car, but the supplier asks for an immediate payment. While the wedding guests are enjoying the feast, the father becomes involved in complicated transactions, in which he has to bribe a notary, police officers and ultimately a priest to get out of the clutches of a cold calculating gangster. And all this happens in the middle of a wild and untamed celebration, escalated by the degree of intoxication of the greedy wedding guests.
