Cemetery

Cinema ClubNga, supposedly the oldest elephant of the world, sets off on a journey together with his human guide so that he could die in the elephant cemetery—although this place’s existence might only be a legend. Their mythical journey through the jungle becomes a meditation on death, rebirth and immortality, on memory and colonialism. Apocalyptic radio broadcast fragments mingle with jungle sounds, while people in the Casas’ cosmic vision become unimportant.
