Marína comes to visit her parents in Bački Petrovac to introduce to them her fiancé, the famous writer Zoli. A staunch abstinent and vegetarian, it is not easy for him at first in a village famous for its sausages and schnapps. Well, only until everyone believes that Zoli will write a book about them and they will finally become famous all over the world. Marína’s father, Karol, should be happy for his daughter, but the arrival of Zoltán awakens the weight of a secret that should have remained hidden forever. The sun burns up the hot Serbian plain, and the Slovak detonator with Balkan temperament will ignite in a moment.
