Erik Skjoldbjærg

1978. All around a village in the south of Norway forests and abandoned buildings are being set on fire. Nineteen-year-old Dag, son of a fire chief, is unsuccessful in all his attempts to fit in the local community and the working group. He wanders through forests with a canister of gasoline and matches. He feels confident only when something is on fire. Small fires on the clearings are no longer enough and soon the lone teenager starts to be attracted by inhabited houses.
