The story of a fateful love affair between singer Zula and composer Wiktor is set in the period of the building of Stalinist Poland as well as modern Europe. The two aren’t able to be together, but at the same time they are deeply attracted to each other and can’t live separately from each other. While jazz and folk music take turns on the background of Warsaw, Berlin and Paris, Zula and Wiktor perform their beautiful, though bitter ballad, their own cold war.
