Cinematik will begin in less than two months, and it will be again a very special year. Let’s look forward to Slovakia’s largest film festival of this year.
In the 16th IFF year, you will find competitive sections Meeting Point Europe and Cinematik.doc – two sections with the best from Europe and Slovakia. There will also be exclusive screenings of new and expected Slovak titles. The current year of the festival will also be focused at current and acclaimed Hungarian cinema, with a retrospective by director and screenwriter Ildikó Enyedi.
The “night section” Cult and Beyond will be dedicated to the production of an actor, director and screenwriter Larry Fessenden. For our movie lovers we are preparing a number of acclaimed screenings from Cannes, Berlinale, or Sundance film festivals.
One by one, we will reveal all the festival sections, an overview of various accompanying events, special screenings, a film night and, of course, all the premieres … The 16th year of the Cinematik festival will take place from 14 to 19 September 2021 in Piešťany.
