Cinematik was created with thie idea of filling in gaps left by the current group of film festivals in Slovakia /Central Europe/. Our goal is to create an event whose long-term strategy is a clear orientation towards young film viewers, with an emphasis on developing their „film literacy”. We are striving to become a festival which attracts the attention of wide audiences due to its unique and relaxing atmosphere and not because of celebrities and red carpets.
