Freelance film journalist and programmer. Lives between Ljubljana, Slovenia and Manila, Philippines. Was editor-in-chief of Ekran film magazine between 2006 and 2008; member of the programme board for Ljubljana International Film Festival (aka LIFFe) and Isola Cinema Film Festival; president of FIPRESCI Slovenia. Currently works as European Content Provider for SEA Images (a webpage focusing on film collaborations between Europe and Asia, founded by ASEF – Asian European Foundation).
IN MEMORIAM: Nika Bohinc (1979 – 2009)
Slovenian film critic, member of the panel of young film critics at IFF Cinematik, Nika Bohinc and her boyfriend Alexis Tioseco were murdered in their home near Manila on Tuesday (1.9.2009) night.
