François Ozon is without any doubt one of the most talented French (and world) film directors. His style is characterized by meticulous work with actors (and mostly with actresses), openness in topics concerning relationships between genders, sexuality (and manipulation through sexuality), passion for mysteries, detective motifs and the diffusion of boundaries between real and imaginary worlds.
