Battle of Docs at Cinematik
In a new competitive section of feature-length Slovak documentary films Cinematik.doc - it presents films premiered in 2009 and 2010. An international jury will not have an easy job since the eight films in the competition are of a high artistic standard and from a wide range of genres.

The 5th edition of the International film festival Cinematik Piešťany will take place from 9th till 15 th September 2010. The Danish contemporary cinema will be represented in its two non-competitive sections organised in cooperation with the Danish Embassy in Slovakia and the Danish Film Institute.

Cinematik awards 2009

The 4. edition of the IFF Cinematik offered its audience more than 120 feature and short films. Rich seven-day programme attracted thousands of filmgoers to Piešťany. The attendance of the festival (including film screenings, concerts, exhibitions, lectures and seminars) was more than 14 000 in the first 5 days. In comparison with the previous edition it is an 80% growth in attendance.
